Welcome to Poise!

I'm Tammy, a South African making my home in beautiful Aberdeenshire, Scotland. I am thrilled to invite you into my world of hustle & heart. 

​

My journey with Poise & the inspiration for the pure-silk head scarf (my core product) began with a personal struggle when I lost approximately 40% of my hair in 2016. This challenging experience ignited a deep appreciation for hair-health & fuelled my desire to create a product that is not only aesthetically pleasing but contributes to the wellness of hair.

Moving to the UK in 2020 & starting back into an office-based role, I quickly realised that the scarves proved invaluable in keeping my hair fresher for longer when transitioning from the stables to the workplace & visa verse & minimised my need for washing & styling - bonus!

So here I am sharing my practical piece of passion-fashion with you so you can enjoy the benefits too!

As I continue on this journey I discover the need for other unique & practical accessories that are hard to find. So I have started adding new lines, such as our belts, which are affordable but at the same time make a big impact to even the most simple of outfits - bringing a touch of sophistication, colour & poise.
